Praveen Balu, A Chennai based Cinematographer / Photographer / Writer / Director. A self-taught photographer and an alumni of Rajeev Menon's “Mindscreen Film Institute” for 'Diploma in Cinematography'. His body of works include Movies, Advertisements, Music Videos, Corporate filmmaking, Product / Commercial photography, Astro Photography and Fashion. Fascinated by photography since 11th grade(2008), Praveen's professional career has spanned more than 9years now, working with multiple brands and magazines as a free-lancer and consultant. An avid traveler and story-teller, his works have mostly been on the road exploring different types of Visual Art.

Highly creative and dedicated Photographer / Cinematographer with an excellent record and experience of Still & film production services. Well read with Photography, Cinematography and its nuances and also able to maintain cordial and professional relationships with Clients, Agencies, Actors, Ensemble, Production Houses and rest of the crew. As the journey progressed, Praveen setup a Photography production company - 'LimeLight Creations' and later a Movie making production house called 'Yorker Film Factory' along with his friends and partners. Winner of many accolades and awards for his various works in Photography, Cinematography and Direction departments, Praveen is currently full time into Visual Production and Screenwriting mainly in the Tamil Film Industry.
